Warung Sunrise virgin beach — Restaurant in Kecamatan Karangasem

The absolute best on Virgin Beach. I felt so cared for by the ladies that worked there. They really welcomed me and were attentive but not intrusive. Everything was FRESH. The food was SO good. It doesn’t looks as designed as some of the others, but the food is better. Their kitchen looked clean and stove is a real fire. The massage was excellent. Great view and area for sunbeds. Free towel and bed. I wish I stayed an extra day - they made me feel at home.

Pro Tip - stay at the campsite for sunrise over the ocean. Sun sets behind mountain around 4:30. Leave at 4pm to go see the sunset at...

Our experience was so lovely that we came back again. The owner there (her name evades me) was very accomodating and cooked us some lovely fresh Mackerel which was very tasty. On that note, the seafood is definitely the one to go for here so ask for what's freshest. Keep in mind that the sunbeds are complementary if you choose to eat there! Would also recommend hiring some snorkels and heading out about 40m to the right of the Warung to see some vibrant marine life. Good quality food. Loved the fresh barracuda and the garlic sauce. Fresh coconuts, free beach lounger with clean towels. Basic toilet facility with flushing loo and soap. Friendly and good service.
