My girlfriend and I took the PADI Open Water course with Mimpi as part of their stay & dive package, and we were very impressed with their level of service & professionalism. Excellent!!! The instructor was amazing and took great lengths to ensure we understood everything clearly and that we were very comfortable in the water. This was my first time, I was nervous, but I felt very safe and comfortable, even though I was a bit scared of diving for the first time. My biggest concern was that I wouldn’t feel confident enough to go to the ocean, but the instructor was very patient with us. We first practiced in the hotel’s swimming pool, and she made sure we felt confident and safe to go to open water. It was a great learning experience. The gears were in very good condition and every dive trip was great. You can trust the air quality on the tanks since the hotel has its own air compressor. The trips were very well organized, they provide everything you need, very good food and even towels. It was nice to take the boat from the hotel’s private jetty. My girlfriend really enjoyed the whole experience, and we can’t wait to go dive again! My wife, our two kids and I stayed at Mimpi Menjangan for 4 nights in August. It was my 4th time at Mimpi so I knew this place from years ago. We did a snorkeling tour with the four of us and a DSD for my daughter (and me joining in as a diver) two days later. As a retired diving professional with 4000+ dives and 900+ certified students myself, I can honestly say that the diving and snorkeling staff at Mimpi Menjangan are very attentive, kind, likeable, funny and - most importantly - a safe crew to be with! My daughter felt seasick during her first dive and her instructor Putu Kertiyasa was passionately taking care of her well being. To the extend that she felt much better after our break on the island and she joined in on the 2nd dive - which she enjoyed very much!! Thank you Putu - you are a master of connecting professionalism and safety with creating a very special moment for your guests! This place is a small jewel in the often hectic world of scuba diving and snorkeling and thus has limited capacity. We recently had an incredible experience at Mimpi Resort Menjangan, and I just have to share it with you all! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. They were genuinely warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The room decor was absolutely stunning way beyond what we expected! It wasn't only beautiful but also impeccably clean and super comfortable. We felt right at home.

One of the highlights of our trip was indulging in a Balinese massage at the resort. It was pure bliss! After that, we were eager to dive into some underwater adventures. That’s when we met bapak Ketut, Putu, and Eko. These guys are exceptional! They ensured our safety while scuba diving and provided us with pure oxygen tanks; "Talk about professionalism!"
