Extremely Disappointing Experience at Pasir Putih Beach Club
I recently visited Pasir Putih Beach Club with high hopes of a relaxing day in the sun, enjoying the beach view while sipping on a refreshing pina colada. Unfortunately, my experience at the beach club was nothing short of disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my grievances with fellow travelers.
From the moment we arrived and settled into our seats, we were dissatisfied with the lack of sunlight obstructed by the shades. We kindly requested the staff to open the shades so we could enjoy the picturesque beach view, but to our surprise, they flatly refused, citing flimsy reasons like "strong wind" as an excuse. However, it was evident that other patrons were comfortably enjoying the beach view with their shades open, which left us feeling like we were unfairly treated.
Resigned to make the best of our visit, we moved outside and settled on a sunlounger. However, our efforts were in vain as we were later asked to move again or face exorbitant charges for the food and drinks we had already ordered. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in any establishment, especially in a beach club where guests expect relaxation and comfort.
The service we received was substandard at best. The waiter displayed a complete lack of interest in assisting us with our relocation, leaving us to move our plates and glasses ourselves. Such negligence in customer service is disheartening and reflects poorly on the overall experience.
To add insult to injury, the drinks we ordered were a major disappointment. The pina colada, supposedly the beach club's best offering, was far from it. It was poorly made and came in a surprisingly small portion, leaving us feeling cheated and dissatisfied with our choice. For a beach club, one would expect their signature drinks to be exceptional, but sadly, this was not the case at Pasir Putih Beach Club.
Overall, my experience at Pasir Putih Beach Club was thoroughly disappointing. The lack of consideration for customer comfort, subpar service, and poorly crafted drinks left a lasting negative impression. I would caution any potential visitors to think twice before wasting their time and money at this establishment, as there are undoubtedly better options available for a truly enjoyable beach...
Read moreOverall, the service was amazing (10/10), and the ambience and aesthetics were also very nice (10/10)! Therefore, our expectation of the food was high but at times it was a bit disappointing. Since we stayed at the hotel, we ended up eating here quite often, as there weren’t many alternatives nearby. Here’s our experience:
Needs improvement / less good • Hamburger – not amazing: poor cheese, no sauce, and the meat was cooked too dry • Mayonnaise – unpleasant taste, only oily, and not stored cold; the oil had already separated due to the heat • Rendang – not the classic dark-colored rendang we expected, but a lighter sauce with a for us strange taste • Coffee – very watery • Chicken curry – sauce was more like a watery courgette soup, with drumsticks; potatoes were undercooked and too hard • Fish cakes – fine, but we would have preferred them crispier
Good / highlights • Breakfast – all very nice!! Fresh juices, fruits very fresh and tasty, good salmon, pink bowl very pretty and tasty, only the egg white was a bit too slimy of the healthy breakfast • Catch of the day – very nice, one of the tastiest white fish I ever had! • Onion rings – very nice, one of the nicest I’ve had • Spring rolls – tasty and crispy • Club sandwich – good, perfect for next to the pool • Fries – good • Gambas – also nice
Thus, if you choose wisely its great! I would recommend something...
Read moreReally wanted to give this place 5 stars. Staff are excellent and attentive, food is pretty good, especially by standards in the area. There was only a couple of minor things which I felt let the place down a little bit.
First was the alcoholic beverages Beer - only Bintang and singaraja on the menu, please get island brewing on your list, it's really popular is easily the best beer in terms of quality in Bali Wines - extremely over priced, even by Bali standards, 1.3 mill for a wolf blass yellow label is too much. I think if you bought some better wines and put more reasonable prices you'd sell a lot more. In canggu / Seminyak regularly pay 800-900k for much higher quality wines Spirits - using very cheap nasty brands, there's many locally produced products now which are much better quality like skyy, Bacardi and east Indies gin. I didn't buy any cocktails during my stay as the spirits were not really what you'd expect from a place like this
One final thing, playlist in the restaurant, there was Kenny G or some other sax playlist, very outdated. A good DJ will give you a really good contemporary playlist for 3-5 mill and you won't need another one for 2 or so years
Overall really like the place, views and ambience and staff great, but if could fix drinks and music...
