Read moreTegenungan could be a lovely tourist attraction.
It is worth noting that this is the same water fall as Blangsinga Waterfall but uses another name. And if you would like to cross to the other side you must pay another entrance fee.
We arrived on scooter, which was fun, and used the free parking by the ticket office and purchased the entrance ticket straight away.
The area is very busy with tourists which we expected.
Different people are offered different prices for the same products from the local shops. That being said, you can buy some nice local products clothing and handmade items here.
There is a restaurant/club which advertises free entry and does look fun. However, we did witness another couple being asked for 300k to spend on food in order to enter.
The waterfall it quite cool and you can easily go in the water. There are plenty of photo opportunities. The area is generally very busy.
We decided to walk up the stairs next to the waterfall towards the other entrance. Here we were asked to pay another entrance free, which we did as we wanted to see the other side and it was much quieter.
The other side (Blangsinga Waterfall entrance) was much quieter and had a few pools that were free to use. Would recommend that part as it was very enjoyable.
If you can visit this area when it is quiet it is worth it, go to the Blangsinga Waterfall entrance and use the pools and restaurant and it is quite enjoyable.

I do not agree with dynamic (and vague) pricing aimed at tourists. I did not feel the loving and good-natured Balenise...
