Beautiful view, but serious hygiene issues and irresponsible management
: Our family visited Omma Day Club on October 6, 2025, and both of our children developed severe stomach pain and diarrhea soon after. They were later diagnosed with typhoid and salmonella by a local hospital (blood tests). The club’s own water test showed pH 6.8 and chlorine 1.5 mg/L — pH is below the recommended 7.2–7.8 and chlorine is borderline — conditions where bacteria can survive. (The manager did not seem to understand what those results meant and even with spelling also not correct in the report). During our visit we also saw food left under the sun and floating debris in the pool. When we shared medical and lab evidence, they repeatedly replied that their self-inspection results were fine and no similar cases were reported, denying any responsibility. Families with children should be especially cautious. We spent 9,000K for 2 days medical treatment of 2 children.

I saw you guys reply.
Me and my wife also started same symptom three days later.
You told us that you would introduce us to the hospital, but that we would have to pay for the treatment. Our accommodation was Sanur, and we said that if we pay for the treatment, we'd better go to the accommodation and call a doctor, but you shouldn't say it as you were trying to provide medical assistance but we refused.
In addition, you told me to contact you if there was a problem after arriving at the accommodation, and I did, but you asked us for the lab test result, saying that other guests had no problem. We paid 2,000K for the blood test and sent the result of detection of typhoid and salmonella. We sent you a doctor's note that the date of infection seems to be the day of your visit based on the children's fever symptoms and our infection that occurred the next day.
After that, we asked for the same survey of your swimming pool and cooking facilities, but you only sent the ph concentration that there was already a problem with the water quality of the swimming pool and repeated that it was not your responsibility without any...
Read morespent the afternoon at Omma Dayclub Bali, and it was truly one of the most scenic and memorable spots I’ve visited. The view alone is worth the trip — lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and the kind of setting that feels straight out of a travel magazine. Everywhere you turn there’s another photo-worthy moment, from the iconic swings to the glass bridge and the stylish pool areas.
The food was great, with well-presented dishes that matched the beauty of the surroundings. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the menu offered a good variety for both light bites and full meals. The music added to the vibe — energetic but not overwhelming, setting the perfect tone for relaxing, people-watching, or capturing a few great photos.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great service and always checking in without being intrusive. It’s clear they’re used to catering to both tourists and locals looking for a good time.
That said, Omma definitely has its “tourist pricing.” Many of the best experiences — like riding the swings or walking the famous glass bridge — come with additional costs. It’s a little “nickel and dimed” for my taste, but that seems to be part of the setup at popular Bali attractions. Still, the place delivers on beauty, energy, and atmosphere.
All in all, Omma Dayclub is absolutely worth visiting for the views, the food, and the overall experience. Whether you’re there to chill with friends, grab a drink with a view, or get that perfect Instagram shot, you’ll have a great time. Just be prepared to pay a little extra for the full experience — and bring your camera, because every corner...
Read moreStarting our Bali trip at OMMA was such a fantastic experience that it set an incredibly high standard for the rest of our vacation!
Initially, we booked a Gazebo because it was a bit cheaper, but once we saw the stunning waterfall and reached the club, we decided to upgrade to a daybed closer to the pool with a beautiful waterfall view, and we definitely don’t regret that choice.
Just a heads-up if you plan to visit this dayclub: you’ll need to pay an entrance fee for the waterfall.
While you can pop in for a quick meal after visiting the waterfall, I found it hard to leave once I got there! We enjoyed a mango crab sushi roll and fried squid; the squid wasn't fantastic due to too much batter, but the sushi was decent. We kicked things off with sparkling wine and moved to white sangria, which was a bit too sweet initially, but the staff promptly took it back to adjust the sweetness for us. All the other cocktails we had are amazing. Do recommend to try them ALL! The music was great, and the overall vibe was just amazing, thanks in large part to the friendly staff, especially Putri, who really made our day. It was awesome that we could bring drinks into the pool, and the staff would come around to collect empty glasses and offer to take new orders, ensuring we were well taken care of wherever we swam.
I truly didn’t want to leave, but we spotted a transparent bridge nearby and decided to explore that too, which I’m so glad we did! If you visit OMMA, definitely check out the Blangsingah Glass Bridge—it’s only a ten-minute walk away. Ubud and OMMA ended up being my favorite...
