Mahakam Lampion Garden — Attraction in Samarinda

This is one of the great tourist attractions in town for both adults or childrens! I think they divided the garden into 2 main areas : Food Court and Romantic Area.

In a daytime, a whole family can take a walk and enjoying the Mahakam River, take a selfie or wefie in every corners. Bring your children's excitement in a playground area. There are some rides to try and it's really fun! From a slow railway rides to extreme ones. As for adult, you may not miss the chance to act like a real Archer, as they have a mini Archery Range too there! If you feeling hungry, you can choose various food in the food court area.

But when the night comes... it's show time!! As the lights on, the romantic area turns even more romantic for couples, but also great for families and friends. It's great idea to capture your best moments here! The replica of the world iconic monuments look so magical. From the 1 to 10 scale for hanging out, I rate it 8.

Maybe a little bit more rides or entertainment and give an attention in a cleanliness won't be hurts, right? Just a suggestion... but overall, I do...

Setelah di buka pada 20 November 2015 silam, manajemen MLG terus membangun guna dapat memberikan kepuasaan, serta menjadi salah satu pilihan utama warga untuk menghabiskan waktu bersantai dan bermain bersama keluarga.

Ada wahana baru, yang terdapat banyak arena permaianan, diantaranya 9 dimensi VR, digital aquarium, sand castle, trampoline, ATV motor, mini train, gasing rides, waterball, frog hooper, ulat coaster, dan flying tigers. Lalu, juga terdapat beberapa mobil antik, karaoke, serta food court.

Jadi, sebelum masuk ke area permainan, pengunjung terlebih dahulu masuk ke lokasi lampion, yang didalamnya terdapat ikon sejumlah negara dan daerah di Indonesia, mulai dari monas hingga patung Merlion King.

Pengunjung cukup membayar tiket masuk senilai Rp 10 ribu, dan dapat menikmati gemerlapnya lampion di pinggir sungai Mahakam.

Bahkan, di Asia Tenggara, digital aquarium hanya terdapat di Singapura dan di MLG Samarinda.

MLG sendiri buka dari pukul 15.00 Wita - 23.00 Wita untuk hari Senin-Kamis, sedangkan akhir pekan dan hari libur nasional, buka mulai pukul 15.00 Wita-24.00 Wita.

Bahkan, pengunjung MLG tidak hanya warga Samarinda saja. Namun, juga berasal dari Bontang, Sengatta, Tenggarong, Balikpapan dan daerah sekitar Samarinda lainnya.
