"Maqsoudieh" is one of the pedestrian streets of Tabriz city, which is located in a busy and high-traffic location. In this historical footpath, there are old and traditional houses of the country's art and culture greats such as Qadki, Behnam, Ganjeizadeh and Nikdel. If we go a little from Saat Square towards the entrance of Maqsoodiyeh, the first alley on the right is Tabriz Measurement Museum. To reach this place, you must first go to Imam Khomeini Street and Saat Square, for this purpose you can use metro, BRT and city taxis. In front of Tarbiat Bazaar, the Maqsoodiye pedestrian sign can be seen, the Tabriz Assessment Museum is located behind the municipal building and in the dead end of Salmasi, the Salmasi House (Tabriz Assessment Museum). The visiting time of this museum in the first half of the year is from 8 am to 8 pm and in the second half of the year from 9 am to 3 pm. You can visit Sangash Museum in Tabriz every day except Fridays and Tasua and Ashura days, 28 Safar, 21 Ramadan and 14 Khordad. Do not forget that visiting the museum is not free and tickets must be purchased before entering. The Museum of Tabriz Measurement or Salmasi House It can be said clearly and decisively that the Tabriz Weighing Museum is considered to be the only specialized museum in Iran and the tools and instruments of weighing and measuring are kept there. Tabriz Museum of Measurement is located at the end of a quiet alley; A building with a brick facade and a small iron door that attracts attention! Be aware that to pass through this iron door you have to enter from one side and its size does not allow you to pass easily and directly. When you pass through the narrow door, you will first enter a corridor and then a square-shaped yard will appear in front of your eyes, surrounded by "Salmasi Mansion". This used to be the residence of Mr. Salmasi's family, one of the famous and rich merchants of Tabriz. Now you have to go up the right side of the stairs. The first entrance is for the winter house and here all the halls are connected to each other. The most important thing about the halls is their special and special architecture, which are very beautifully designed and suitable for different seasons of the year; The Salmasi family lived in one of these houses every season

is the first and only specialized measuring museum in Iran, where most measuring instruments are displayed. Sanjesh museum is located in one of the beautiful and old houses of the city; its building dates back to the Qajar period. The house was the personal home of Mr. Salmasi and was made in 1874. After his death in 1995, the house was purchased by the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization from Salmasi family for the purpose of protection. After 6 years of repairment and reconstruction of the building, it became the Sanjesh museum in 2002.

The museum is located at the historical house of Salmasi. The museum has a variety of weighing tools such as goldsmith scales, large scales for field vegetables, the balance weights, oil modules, astronomical instruments like astrolabes, meteorology-related assessment tools, compasses and watches from the past centuries, and also, a 5 million year old tree belonging to the Pliocene, is held in the museum, located in the yard.
