If you're ever in Ireland and don't visit this distillery, you're doing it wrong. Forget sightseeing—this place is the sight to see! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by stunning decor that feels like a love letter from the owners to their guests. Every inch of this place is brimming with personal touches that scream, ‘We love what we do, and we want you to love it too.’ But wait, there's gin! And not just any gin, but the Queen of gins - the kind that makes you question why you'd ever drink anything else. They also whip up some vodka that’ll make your regular weekend cocktail look like child's play. Oh, and did I mention they have Ireland's only absinthe? Trust me, it’s as magical as it sounds. We attended their cocktail masterclass, and boy, was it worth every drop. Hosted by one of the co-founders (who could probably moonlight as a stand-up comedian), the session was packed with laughs, insider tips, and some seriously good drinks. Not only was our host Bhagya, witty and charming, but she made sure no glass was left unfilled and no guest unattended—now that's hospitality with a twist! In short, the whole experience was gin-credible. Whether you're a seasoned spirit lover or just looking for a good time, this distillery is an absolute must. Cheers to one of the best part of my trip!

A group of 12 of us visited the Rebel Distillery on Saturday for the "Chase the Fairy" event to celebrate our friend's upcoming nuptials and spent a wonderful hour and a half learning all about the history and making of absinthe. We sampled 3 beautiful cocktails which included the Distillery's own absinthe and we were acquainted with the distillation process and all the various spices that went into the spirit. The event itself takes place both around a beautifully decorated bar and in an adjacent room which showcases distilling equipment and jars of exotic spices. Róisín was our contact from start to finish making sure we were all catered for during the booking process and who also hosted us on the evening of the event itself. She was so warm, welcoming and wonderfully informative and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening with her! We would recommend this event to everyone and would urge those who are unsure about absinthe to give the Rebel Distillery a visit as we all came out with our minds completely changed about the spirit!!

This distillery is fantastic. The gin that is produced is like no other. The aniseed is so tasteful. The ingredients used and the aromas are brilliant. Tea is also an option on your visit. To see a little idea like this to take off and get to where it is now has to be given praise. The work that is involved is unbelievable. Well done. I would highly recommend picking one of these beverages as a treat for your self or a gift for some one. All the better it has come from the heart or Cork City. The interior of this Cork City Distillery where the brewing takes place compliments the overall experience. With guided tours hens stags parties it's a must do venue to visit. Once again the interior design is amazing. The photos here won't give you the experience of an actual tour or an event. Highly recommend visiting. Pick up a gift or a gift package. Visit the website but most definitely visit in person. So you can appreciate the work that is involved in producing these uniques drinks. Loving the Maharani Aniseed. Thanks!

Rebel City Distillery is one of the best spots to visit in Cork City. Its location is ideal, just a 20-minute walk from the city center, adjacent to Marina Market. Taxis can also conveniently drop you at the entrance. The distillery offers a wide range of visitor experiences, including distillery tours, cocktail masterclasses, and private events. The history of the place and business is fascinating and engaging. Visitors will learn how gin is made and discover the origins of Maharani Gin. The distillery also produces Citrus Vodka and Ireland's only absinthe. Additionally, there is a small shop inside, perfect for purchasing local products or some merchandise. The entire team is wonderful and has created a vibrant space for fun and meeting new people. I wholeheartedly recommend this distillery and would gladly repeat any of the experiences offered there. MAHARANI GIN is a hidden gem among alcoholic beverages. I have never tasted such a delicious gin, so I encourage you to try it! 💙

Upon arrival at Rebel Distillery in Cork, we were greeted warmly and given a complimentary Maharani gin and tonic, setting a perfect tone for our visit. Despite its small size, the distillery is presented brilliantly, with a wonderful aesthetic and an immaculate environment. Bhagya, our tour guide, was exceptional, providing detailed insights into the history of the gin, the intricacies of its production, and the distillery's future aspirations. We sampled their gin, absinthe, and citrus vodka, all of which were fabulous. We also got to make two cocktails using their gin. It was evident that a lot of time and effort had gone into the taste and science of the alcohols, and also the design of the bottles. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, even if you're not particularly interested in gin or alcohol production. It's a fun, energetic, and overall brilliant experience. Plus, you'll be supporting an honest, local brand with strong ethics.

A night out organised by my wonderful niece, we headed to Rebel City Distillery nestled in the heart of the Marina an up and coming area, the Cork Docklands. The old Ford Car Factory, once dormant, now transformed into a hub of liquid magic. Tradition meets rebellion in this eclectic space. It is more than just a place to sample exquisite spirits—it’s a celebration of creativity, heritage, and innovation. As the city’s first distillery in half a century, it breathes new life into Cork’s historic docklands. The fusion of Indian and Cork flavors at Rebel City Distillery is a delightful journey where two distinct cultures intertwine, creating something truly unique. In essence, the Indian and Cork fusion at Rebel City Distillery is a celebration of diversity, craftsmanship, and shared love for exceptional spirits. Thank you for a wonderful evening of laughs and making us feel at home. Sláinte! Looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
