The Glasshouse — Restaurant in Cork

Stopped by The Glass House at the Montenotte Hotel in Cork for drinks, and it’s exactly the kind of spot you want on a sunny afternoon. The view is incredible especially if you sit outside, you can see almost the entire city, which makes for the perfect backdrop. 🌞🍹

I went with a cocktail and a small plate, and both were delightful well-made, refreshing, and perfect for a leisurely sip while taking in the view. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, it’s a great spot for drinks with a view. Nothing over the top just good drinks, stunning scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere. Ratings:

Definitely the best cocktail bar in Cork. A big claim, why? The location is spectacular looking out over the city of Cork, at night the lights come on during the day it’s a beautiful view. The decor is spectacular, deep blue velvet and Rich greens combined with spectacular lighting. On the nights with music, the atmosphere is special. And then of course there are the cocktails. I’m writing this review as I’m still here enjoying myself. It’s a bar within the Montenotte Hotel. I was greeted and felt welcomed by a gentleman out front. He ushered me to the bar happily. I was maybe 10 minutes early but they weren’t angry or upset. The bartender, Debbie, was unbelievably kind and attentive. She was such a delight to talk to and give me suggestions.
