The Rougey Cliff Walk in County Donegal, Ireland, is a stunning coastal trail that offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding coastline. The trail is well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts.

The walk starts in the charming town of Bundoran and follows the coastline for approximately 5 kilometers, passing by rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and sandy beaches. Along the way, hikers can enjoy panoramic views of the sea and spot a variety of seabirds and other wildlife.

The terrain is relatively flat, with some steep sections and rocky terrain, but overall, it is a moderate hike suitable for most fitness levels. There are also several benches and resting areas along the way, making it a great option for families with children or those who need to take frequent breaks.

The trail is well-signposted, and there are several information boards that provide interesting facts about the history, geology, and wildlife of the area. The walk ends at Tullan Strand, where hikers can relax and take a dip in the ocean before returning to Bundoran.

Overall, the Rougey Cliff Walk is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting County Donegal. It offers a unique and unforgettable experience, showcasing the natural beauty and rugged charm of Ireland's Wild...

The Rougey Walk is a circular walk taking in views of the Atlantic Ocean from Rougey and Bundoran's bustling Main Street in County Donegal. It is a moderate walk and care should be taken on exposed sections in windy or wet weather.

Start from Bundoran Tourist Office and follow the path along the promenade passing Waterworld and Bundoran's Blue Flag Beach. The walk continues on around the headland with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Bundoran's Championship Golf Course on the other side. On reaching the far end of the walk follow the road back into town until you reach the junction with...

This is a nice gentle walk along the cliff top. It is a tarmac track so suitable for wheelchairs and prams. The walk starts near the beautiful beach of Bundoran and takes you into the heart of the town where you will find plenty of local shops, cafes and restaurants. My favourite of which is Foam due to a great selection of fresh food, drinks and...

Beautiful spot for an evening walk, sunsets are always a show stopper. Watch for dolphin on a calm day surfers on the rough ones. The ocean always puts on a good show after a storm so make sure to bring your camera. Fabulous views of sliabh liag to the north and mullaghmore to the south.
