Beautiful beach.. very near to Bundoran adventure park. There is a car park, however the free parking outside is usually occupied by the Surf vendors. The paid parking inside has ample space but paying for that parking is nightmare.. I lost atleast 5 Euros to the machine as it would randomly not accept some coins (especially 10 cents) and on cancelling it returns nothing back. So keep 1 Euro or 2 Euro coins handy!!. Their is a fantastic cafe on wheels next to the parking and the way down to beach (which is difficult to find for a new person) goes via that cafe only. The beach itself is vast and beautiful, perfect for surfing and I saw many kids getting training on the same. If you walk towards the mountain side of beach you will witness mountain slopes completely covered with shells and barnacles.. Amazing views.. One last thing toilet is available near the car park only. Highly...

Tullan Strand is a 2km beach that stretches from the north end of Bundoran town to the Erne Estuary at Ballyshannon. There are 2 car parks here, one free and another paid one. Though the free car park gets filled up pretty quickly on weekends and holidays. You can usually see loads of surfers breaking the waves with their surfboards in this beach. You can get beautiful views of the beach from the cliffs above. All this with the backdrop of the Dartry Mountains. There is a nearby surfing school where you can book surfing courses and they will provide everything necessary to get you started. The beach is squeaky clean and the water is clear too. Kids had a wonderful time climbing the sand hills of the cliffs and also playing on the sandy beach. It's recommended to check the weather before you visit as it can get pretty windy during...

One of my favourite beaches in Ireland! It is from an walking distance from Bundoran City Centre - and you can walk on a seaside trail. They have a good parking (2€ per day) and there’s some portable loos near the parking, which is very convenient. It is a good spot for surfists or those who wanna learn, as there’s surf school tents near the parking as well. It is a perfect place to watch the sunset or sunrise- and if the forecast for northern lights is good, we had the chance the see the most beautiful one in this beach as well. The access to the beach is not the best and there’s a bit of a hill walk to get there, so would mind that in case of any disability. There’s some good options of food within walking distance and a nice cafe just at the entrance of the beach. A lovely place to...
