Westport Sea Safari — Attraction in County Mayo

What a spectacular experience on the Westport Sea Safari. We arrived for the evening trip and were greeted with a warm welcome and safety briefing as we boarded the impressive rib. The views were sensational around Clew Bay and the panoramic view of Croagh Patrick was amazing! I learnt lots about the area. The walk around the island and lighthouse was gorgeous and we even saw some friendly seals on the way back. A real highlight of the trip was meeting a local fisherman who showed us his tasty catch of the day and shared some local knowledge of the sea and surrounding areas. We went out on an evening cruise with Anthony. Really enjoyable experience around Clew Bay and we were lucky enough to see some dolphins and seals. We also learned some interesting bits and pieces about the area from boat skipper Anthony that I had no idea of despite visiting Westport many times. The views of croagh Patrick were amazing also. We will definitely do this trip again and would recommend it as something to add to your to do list while in Westport. As a family of four, 2 adults & 2 teenagers, on a drizzling rainy morning in Westport, we had so much fun on our sea safari on The Rib.
