There is multiple beaches at Rosses Point which allows more people to be at the beach before crowding it up, and when the tide is high, you will know as it is far up the beach, so checking the tide before going is a must or else you will be doing beach activities on rocks. A great plus is the second beach being pedestrian only which makes looking out for kids easier. There is also some nice rock interesting formation areas that are a bit of an adventure, especially to a child's creative mind - the formation is found on the second beach and when you are heading off the beach don't take the ramp instead turn right and walk down the beach....

We found a place to park with no problem.
