Furry Glen is a beautiful place to visit for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. It is a part of the Phoenix Park, one of the largest urban parks in Europe. Furry Glen has a small lake, a variety of plants and wildlife, and scenic trails for walking or cycling. You can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the fresh air, and maybe spot some of the wild deer that live in the park. However, if you are looking for more activities or attractions, you might be disappointed. Furry Glen is not a place for entertainment or excitement but for relaxation and contemplation. It is a good place to escape from the city and reconnect with nature, but not much else. I recommend Furry Glen to anyone who appreciates the simple beauty of nature and wants to spend some quiet...

A beautiful, tranquil space where you can take various routes to investigate your surroundings. For those whose mobility is restricted there is a tarmac road that leads you from the Upper Glen road, down to the Glen pond and around to the Carpark beside Mount Sackville gate and the recently revamped tourist information office. I have found that occasionally after it has rained this road can be a bit slippy so bear this in mind. For everyone else there loads of tracks & trails throught the forest. It can be quiet rough in these areas so consider...

I was kicked out for fishing in the pond when there is clearly no signs at the pond that say no fishing also when I checked the bye laws in the park at the chapolozod entrance there was nothing about fishing in those either, we told the park ranger that stopped us and explained to him we wore simply catching the fish an releasing them straight away but wore told to get out of the park or the police would be called so just to save us the hassle we left, just putting this out there incase anybody was thinking of fishing down there don't waste...

A true Haven in the Phoenix Park. An idealic place for a Walk, Cycle or even a spot of fishing. It's also a great spot for the keen eyed photographer as there is a lot of wildlife, small pond and forest area.

Not much to do here. It is good for spending some time away from city center. You might want to have a picnic here. You might randomly see some deers but lots of people come here with their dogs.
