I've found here a place rich in history, and testimonies of both the previous English lifestyle and the new Irish reality during and after the 1916 Rising I was luckily accompanied by an English history teacher who made me notice all the different plants of the park surrounding a stunning green central meadow and beautiful flowers and fountains near the main house, the former English Heritage and present Pearse Museum. We got refreshments in St Endas Café and spent the rest of a pleasant morning there in a fulling relaxing atmosphere

One of my favourite and lesser known places lots of little nooks, streams, ruins good biodiversity, great place to watch squirrels. Less crowded and less manicured than Marlay. It has parking, a coffee shop, nature room, pitches, a free museum and walled garden. Houses the very first Irish School run by Paidraig Pearse and supposedly where some of the 1916 rebellion was planned, you get to go inside and see.

Hiding in the shadow of it's bigger cousin, Marlay Park, St Enda's is often forgotten. As lush as Marlay without the crowds, you can grab a coffee in Brambles, walk expansive, scenic grounds or sit amongst the beautiful flowers. GAA pitches for athletes, the Pearse Museum for athletic minds and easy parking make this my favourite place to go in Dublin.

A lovely park, with Pearse Museum which is very interesting. We were fortunate enough to be able to catch a historical theatrical presentation in the grounds when visiting.
