Viewpoint with bench — Attraction in The Municipal District of Bray

Easy walk with the best views in the first half. Start from Bray and return after half of it. The latter part of the walk is extremely boring and it's just a path in a field with high fences on both sides. No views. In the distance you can see cranes and construction work going on.

The first half of the walk (i.e. 2-2.5km is great with some picturesque views of the Dart tunnels and Wicklow coastline with waves crashing against the rocks. That part is well worth it if it's a sunny day.

You can experience a beautiful view of the beach from here. The only issues is that the place is not maintained at all. Der Cliffwalk ab Bray war mal ein Insidertipp. Damals war der Weg gesperrt obwohl ihn alle Einheimischen gegangen sind. Ich bin ihn auch mehrmals gegangen und er kam mir doch sehr sicher vor. Wahrscheinlich ist er heute noch mehr ausgebaut und zum Cliffwalk ernannt worden. Früher hieß es nur von Bray nach Greystone. Je nach Wetter konnte es vorkommen, dass man im Schlamm steckte zeitweise. Der Weg führt an den Klippen entlang immer mit der sagenhaften Aussicht des Meeres linker Hand..Man wandert quasi um einen Hügel herum..den Ginsterduft in der Nase bis man quasi direkt am Strand von Greystone ankommt. Unbedingt in den Pub einkehren mit Blick auf die See und die leckersten Bratkartoffeln ever! Am Pub kann man den Bus zurück nach...
