I remember when i first set eyes on this Monstrosity of a building. I was walking on a high ground overlooking the town when i noticed what looked like this rusty container sticking out above the roof tops. I actually thought the Council were doing some kind of sewage works, I Subsequently found out it was the Arts centre( ironic or what) . I visited the centre and found it to be several stories high of corridors and toilets.no lifts, with cold white walls -completely uninviting. Whoever gave planning permission for this eyesore should have has their white stick and guide dog taken away. Truly awful.Shame on the inept Skibbereen Council...

The only thing we noticed was that you cannot tell the difference between employees and customers meaning who is acutally out having coffees, a smoke and who is in charge.
