Applebettys Cafe — Restaurant in West Cork

This is a perfect spot for a bite of grub and a bit of people watching. We sat outside the front for breakfast. You are on the main square of the town and it's brilliant watching the hustle and bustle. I ordered a coffee and my parter ordered a scone. As the order was taken, a server brought out another item so I ran in to change. The staff were so nice and had no issue changing my order. We ended up getting the breastfast trio. What a delight. In 3 parts, the first was granola and yogurt, the second was a lovely croissant and the third item was a glass of fresh fruit. Unbelievable. Very plesent experience and I can't wait to go back. Took a drive this evening with the kids. Stopped off in Skibbereen, late in the evening, but getting hungry. Found an absolute gem of a cafe right on the square (open til 8), & were THRILLED with it!! Food was amazing (you have to try their Lamb burger!!!💖), & so reasonably priced. Got chatting to the owners, so nice & welcoming, & found out they'd only just reopened today after their lockdown. WELL WORTH A VISIT!!! Have always called in for lunch and found staff lovely today popped in this lady very red faced and rude no manners came out to cut cake for a customer in front off the counter never excused herself or said hello ..i had to swing way out by her and made my way to the counter and ordered 2 blueberry cheesecake and1 white coffee and 1black coffee total €15.50 cheesecake two different sizes one very small and one big both €5 each crazy price.... €4.50 in local hotel we also had to ask very flushed lady to close back door as the draft was so cold will not be going back...
