Fabulous Glen and Park let down by an absolute shocker of a 'cafe' The £24 spent on a cheese burger and chicken burger may as well have been fed to the ducks. ( no harm was done to the wildlife as it wasn't fit to feed them) The food consisted of a luke warm burger , not hot enough to melt the cheese and fries like wood chips. The chicken burger has never seen a chicken, a frozen patte from the cheapest frozen food outlet available shaped like an egg, with again free range wood chips. I suspect the coaches of unfortunate tourists would not have time to complain before being whisked away and the unsuspecting visitor's like my wife and I shall never be back despite it being in a lovely location . Served without condiments or cutlery which I had to search for. By all means visit the wonderful play area but avoid the frozen...

Café with great food & famous Manx ice cream. A little on the pricy side but worth the money.
Picturesque Glen for walkers - will need walking boots / sturdy trainers for majority of walk as route is uneven and can get muddy in wetter weather.
Parking can be tricky. There is a small car park next to the Glen, however with limited spaces you will more than likely have to park in the main car park (sign posted).
You can also park on the roads leading down to the Glen. Roads are steep, uneven and narrow in places so park and walk...
Read moreGreat for kids and dogs lovely tails to follow. Beautiful parks with an old fashioned carousel, tons of areas to explore and boating lake river streams. Can be muddy so makesure you wear suitable clothing for weather.
Toilet facilities not always open, not very clean. Cafe isnt open often and didn't have a great selection for allergies ice cream...
