Madatech — Attraction in Haifa

Madatech, Israel’s National Museum of Science, Technology and Space, is a true wonderland for everyone from age 2 to 99. Housed in the historic Technion building where Einstein once planted a palm tree, this museum brings hands-on science to life in ways you won’t find anywhere else.

Tip: On a typical Saturday afternoon there’s almost no line at the ticket counter, but buying online in advance saves you ₪5 per ticket.

Inside the first building, you’ll explore three floors of interactive exhibits. The upper two levels are filled with live experiments on mechanics, electricity generation (you can crank a real dynamo yourself!), electric-car steering, light spectra, airflow, waves and frequencies, sound, pressure and even space exploration. On the ground floor, little engineers can run wild in a giant Lego zone, splash around in the water playground building dams and sluices, navigate mazes and try out hands-on construction tables.

Outside, the Noble Energy Science Park invites you to pull, push and climb giant installations powered by wind, sun and water. You’ll see Archimedes’ screws, computer-controlled fountains and a 400-seat amphitheater for impressive water-and-light shows.

Don’t miss the second building with its rotating exhibitions. We loved “Behind the Screen,” a digital show complete with chroma-key studios, immersive projections and an anatomically detailed tour of the human circulatory system. There’s always something new on display, from space missions to historical collections.

Finally, check out the Wanger Family Fab-Lab and education wing, where you can design your own 3D prints and join workshops in robotics, genetics and environmental science. Madatech is more than a museum—it’s a place where curiosity sparks and everyone rediscovers the joy...

Not recommended at all for adults. It's super expensive (89per person) and does only feature kids stuff. I have been to many science museums before because as a scientist thst is what interests me. However there were only very few things for adults and they were not even always signed.

Moreover the ticket buying process was super annoying. First I stood at the wrong cashir but it was not visible for an English speaker before. I was not the only one.. Then after about 20min (there were not soo many people in front of me..) I gave the lady my disability card cause it said disabled people would get discount. In the card it is clearly explained in English that I am severely disabled and it is pretty obvious that it is an official document featuring my photograph. She was like what's that I don't understand and I had to explain to her for about 5minutes what it is. Finally she was like hm okay I give you 50%discount as if she was granting me it as a huge gift. Discrimination is unfortunately very common for disabled people where the disability is not seen from the outside. I am sure she would have just accepted it if I were there with a wheelchair. הזמנו יום לפני תשלום נוח דרך אתר המדעטק, הטסלנו בעזרת קופון של מינוי הפיס. כל הכבוד גם שעל ילד עד גיל 5 לא צריך לשלם. גם חסך. הגענו ב9 וחצי על הכרטיס היה רשום 10 וחצי. מצאנו ים של חנייה בצמוד למטסד הלימודי הצמוג. ובמרחק 6 מטר מהשער. בערך 40 דרות אחרינו כבר התמלאה החנייה. מי דחא מקדים עגיף שיחנה ויצקגם ברכל טו עם אוטבוס. אפשר להגיע בקלות גם עם אוטובוס

המתנו לפתיחה בסהלנות תוך הנאה משעון השמש ומרחבי הדשא. כשקחטב אותנו קופאית אחת תוהים בקרבה הסבירה לנו , בסבר פנים שהפתיחה רק ב10. ושכרגע הם נמצאות בעמדה רק כדי לענות לשטלות והכוונות לשירותים וכו. ב10 לעשר בש יא היעילות , כבר התחילו להסתובב בין האנשים החוץ שתי קופאיות עם קופןת נידות, לטובץ מתן צמיגים למי ששרין כרטיס מראש. יש שב10 ו3 שניות כבר היינו בתוך המדעטק.

התחלנובמיצגים נחמדים שינו בכניסה אבל לצערנו היו עם תקלות.

למי שטם ילדים קטנים מומלץ לשבור בחדות ימינה ולדלג ממללכודת הילדים, שנקראת חנות מזכרות. וישר להגיע לאזור החידות והדמית הצוללת. חמוד מאוד. החידות מתאימות לכולם גם כמשפחה. הדמיית הצוללת מקסימה עם הפרסקופים. משם פעילות נחמדה עם מים לילדים, גם מאוד חינוכית ומהנה. מקסים לילדים מתחת לגיל 8.

פעילות חדר הציור גם מהנה. מדם שעטנו לקומה השנייה וניהנו עולל רצת שימוש בחיפוש המטמון ואפלירצית המדעטק( קצת יוצר מתאים לילדים גדולים יותר. נהנו בחדרי המכניקה , והרוח והבועות. נהנו מאוד . יצאנו להתאוורות ונישנוש במרחב החצר, גם שפ חיכו שלל אטרקציות חינוכיות לילדים. היה נהדר ללמד את הילדים על מכאניקה, שינוע מים, תוך הדגמה ויזואלית עליהם ואיתם. וגם אנחנו חזרנו לילדות. משם זיהנו את זנבות הדינזואר, ואיך שהסבנו את הילדים לכך. הם שעטו במרץ סבב ראשון עשו בריצה עצמאית והאוו היה אדיר. סבב שני הרשו להסביר. כשכבר חשבנו שנגמר מתחם הדינוזאר,ץ קלטנו דלת נוספת

נכנסו עלייה כדי לגלות מתחם פנימי ואת הטי רקס. לילדים חיכו אטרקציות נוספות ומגוונות

איתור בכאילן של מאובנים, רכיבה על דינוזאר, ציור והקרנת הציור שלהם במקרן, צילום בתוך ביצה ועמדת מציאות מדומנ. ניסינו כמעט הכל חוץ מהמציאות המדומה. אומנם לא היה רשום, אבל בגלל שלאידן יש אפיליפסיה, שאלנו עם מותר. הצוות לא ידע ישר לענות, אבל תוך דקה נרתמו לבירור מול גורמים מעליהם והסבו תשובה מקצועית והמלצה שלא.מאוד שירותיים .( בכל מקרה ממליצה למי דצריך גם להיזהר מvcr ולהקפיד לרשום אזהרות).

לא נורא לא פגע לנו בדבר.

יצאנו מהאזור להדרכה ופעילות נחמדה של ניסויים. הניסויים היו נחמדים מאוד. ומשם חזרנו למדעטק להמשך סיור בתערועת החלל, אופטיקה, מיקרוסרופים ועוד כולל מבט על הירח ב360 מעלות.אשליות אופטיות ורוח

התחלנן פעילות ב10 , סיימנו ב13:30 עברנן בדילוג מהיר לקיפטריה לאכילת נקניקיות.

מומלץ ביותר להתכונן מהבית עם סנדביצים , בורקסים וביצים ופירות אנחנו לא הקפדנו, וסיימט את היום עם ילד היסטרי ורעב. בכל מקרה חוויה כיפית וחינוכית ומהנה.

וסתם כאנקטודה כבוגרת טכניון לשעבר, יצא לי בעבר להתנדב במסגרת פרח לפעילויות בטכנודע = מדעטק, טו במסגרת סיורי משלחת itas היה מגניב לראות את השינויים והשידרוגים. ואפילו פגשתי ידיד מימי הטכניון .

הקיצר ל4 אנשים. מתוכם 2 מבוגרים ילד בן כמעט 7, ילד ב 3.5. עלות עם מינוי הפיס 120 ש"ח. בילוי מקסים וחינוכי שלפחות 3.5 / 4 שעות. גם פעילות פיזית...
