A Magical Finale to Our Italy Trip!
We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Passione in Vigna - La Vigna del Viandante on the last day of our Italy trip, and it truly was the icing on the cake! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Marco and Marghe, two of the kindest, most passionate people we’ve ever met.
Their love for the land, the vines, and the winemaking process is evident in everything they do. Marco gave us a heartfelt tour of the vineyard, sharing deep insights into the grape varieties they grow and their sustainable approach to wine production. His passion is contagious!
The wine tasting itself was an unforgettable experience — not only because of the delicious, carefully crafted wines, but also because each glass was paired with gourmet food prepared by Marghe, who is truly an exceptional cook. Every bite was a perfect complement to the wines, and the whole experience felt intimate, authentic, and deeply personal.
We left feeling enriched, inspired, and incredibly grateful. Meeting Marco and Marghe felt like meeting old friends — and we will forever cherish the memories we made at their beautiful vineyard. If you're anywhere near this region of Italy, do not miss this hidden gem. It’s more than a wine tasting — it’s a glimpse into a life lived with purpose, passion, and heart.

Read moreWe found Passione di Vigno by accident. We were looking for attractions for rainy weather and thank God it rained that day! Otherwise we would miss a lot. We didn't know what to expect, the place is new, with only 1 review on Google, but it looked good. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely owners who showed us around the place. After a short introduction, the tasting commenced and increasingly tastier appetizers and perfectly matched wines began to appear on the table, accompanied with great storytelling from the owner. After a few glasses, the conversation was so friendly that we didn't even notice that almost 4 hours had passed during which we also visited the farm. The whole place has amazing vibe, delicious wines, locally produced olive oil, local high-quality meats and cheeses, but this was only the background to the wonderful owners who stole our hearts with their hospitality. Despite the rainy weather, you will remain our warmest memory from Lake Como! And to anyone who hesitates whether it's worth it, we'd say - just go, because it's a place you can't miss, no matter whether it's sunny or raining. You will feel like you are staying with friends, you will drink and eat like kings and want to come back there again and again... Thank you once again for an...
Read moreWe found this lovely micro wine maker by chance and let me tell you this is the most amazing experience we’ve every had! After the first contact with Marco we already had a feeling it was going to be a nice experience. We started with a tour from Marco and Marghe of their vineyard. Here we got to hear the passion they have for their vineyard and what it takes to do what they are doing. It was so nice to hear about the reasoning for why they use their methodes. Which are based off of the ancient methodes of producing wine grapes. After this tour we got to their home where the tasting took place in a lovely renovated old barn. The wines we got to taste was a white, a rose and a red wine. All of these wines were amazing. 🤩 With every wine we got some food as well. The foods were either locally sourced from other farmers in the area or homemade. With the wine and food we got to have an great conversation with Marco and Marghe! So I want to say thank you to our new friends!...
