Anzio is a little town not far from Rome, melting sea, nature and history. Getting there from Rome is very easy, the location is great and the warm climate makes it one of the most famous destinations of the central coast, all over the year. It got awarded by the Bandiera Blu – beautiful and clean Italian award – several times, as for its pure water. It’s fresh, clean, not too deep, along a coast rich in different types of beaches for anybody. The establishments are well-equipped, and they offer excellent services, as well as the hotels of the area, making Anzio the capital of welcome. It is considered one of the best ones along the coast, celebrated in the famous movie “Armacord”, by Fellini.

Wonderful beach, clean sand and Mediterranean sea water 🙂 An umbrella and two sunbeds were for €15, shower is 20 cents for about 2 minutes, changing cabin is for free. Staff was friendly and speak some English. Lifeguards were present there too.

It is a very close travel destination from my current residence. It is also not far from the main city of Rome. I find the place very beautiful. The sea water here is very clear and blue in color.

We went there on a day trip in May while we stayed in Rome. A beautiful place with nice and sandy beaches. We got sun burned so watch out ;) Amazing calamares close to the beach!

Ahol laktunk ott a helyi busz járt,amivel el tudtunk ide jönni. A part szép,de kicsit koszos, szemetek vannak néhol a vízben,a parton. Terhesen àllandóan éhesen nem volt jó időtöltés,mivel az egész környéken egy étterem sincs nyitva órákon keresztül...egy kávézó és egy koktél bár volt nyitva.. köszi..a csöves àrusok borzasztóak, mindenhol ott vannak!! Itt is!! Nem lehet pihenni,mert odapofàtlankodik!! A hely nem nagy szám.. átlagos tengerpart. Lemenni a partra az utcáról nem olyan egyszerű, sorban házak vannak kerítéssel.

La spiaggia più bella che una cittadina sul mare possa avere. Panorama stupendo sia verso il mare che alle spalle. Tanti servizi dalla spiaggia attrezzata e tante attività per non annoiarsi come la scuola di sport acquatici PK School. Insomma ce n’è per tutti i gusti: famiglie, coppie, in compagnia di amici o da soli. E se il relax è il divertimento in spiaggia e in mare non ha riempito la tua giornata, doccia e in 5 minuti sei al centro di Anzio per un aperitivo, una cena o un dopo cena gustosi e divertenti.

Description
The Battle of Anzio was a battle of the Italian Campaign of World War II that took place from January 22, 1944 to June 5, 1944. The operation was opposed by German forces in the area of Anzio and Nettuno.
