Maa Beach — Attraction in Bogliasco

Maa Beach is one of those places you stumble upon and instantly fall in love with. Tucked along the Genoese coastline, it’s a small but beautiful beach with crystal-clear water, scenic views, and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere.

What makes Maa Beach special is the mix of natural beauty and chill vibes — it’s not overly crowded like other tourist spots, and you can really take your time to unwind. The water is perfect for swimming or just floating and enjoying the view of the rocky Ligurian coast. There’s a small bar/restaurant nearby where you can grab a drink or snack, and the staff are super friendly.

It’s a bit rocky, so I’d recommend water shoes if you have sensitive feet, but the water and surroundings more than make up for it. Great place to watch the sunset too!

The beach itself is nice, not sandy exactly like other reviews say but very fine pebbles ! Good view and reasonable prices (40 for an umbrella + 2 chairs at 4pm). The changing rooms and the toilets were clean and usable. The drinks were okay, and the lady behind the bar was quite pleasant. We didn’t order food but also didn’t notice anyone else having anything to eat , so can’t say anything about it.

We got there by car and only reason we ended up going here was cos there was parking on the main road up the hill...

Sono stato a cena con la mia ragazza qualche sera fa. Ero un po'dubbioso dopo aver letto le recensioni su TripAdvisor e consultato il menù online, ma mi sono lasciato attrarre dalla bella terrazza panoramica a strapiombo sul mare. Ahimè, oltre la terrazza c'è ben poco. Abbiamo preso delle bruschetta al salmone con guacamole e salsa al lampone (3 bruschette dal gusto niente di che a 14 euro) e due primi assolutamente deludenti. I miei ravioli al ripieno di cozza della cozza non avevano assolutamente il sapore, a parte per il sale in quantità allucinante. Avrei dovuto rimandare indietro il piatto, ma ho evitato. Inoltre i ravioli erano pochissimi (e sicuramente comprati e non fatti con la pasta fresca), più un appetizer che un primo. Inaccettabile pagare un piatto del genere 18 euro. La mia ragazza ha preso delle fettuccine au gamberi, ma forse sarebbe meglio dire al gambero, visto che ce n'era solo uno. Anche lì, sapore del tutto mediocre, e 22 euro per un piattino da ristorante stellato che però dello stellato non ha nulla a livello di gusto. Molto meglio la pasta che faccio a casa. Uniche note positive il servizio (ci ha servito una cameriera molto attenta e disponibile) e il dolce, un gustoso tortino al cioccolato dal prezzo contenuto. Un ristorante pretenzioso come ne ho visti pochi in vita mia. Sono disposto a spendere, ma voglio qualità e gusto, non essere preso in giro.
