Lido Le Palme - Capaccio Paestum — Attraction in Capaccio Paestum

Absolutely wonderful beach.

It's linked to the "Le Palme" hotel, so if you are a client there you will have a beach spot here (one parasol and two tanning beds per room). The beach itself is quite small. We were here in October, when Italian children had no vacations, which meant that it only got busy on the weekends, when locals and people spending the weekend added to the tourists staying at the hotel.

The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, home made and reasonably priced. The kitchen opens at 12 sharp. If you do decide to eat there on a weekend, you should probably call ahead and book a reservation, because it gets quite busy...

We came here for the burgers they looked very nice but unfortunately were pretty disappointing. Not much flavor and very soggy and the bread was dissolving and falling apart. The ingredients in it were good just not the combination with too much sauce and wet products. Also we did not expect them to be cold.

The price is between 13.00-16.00 € per burger and it comes with fries. They do not let you only order a burger. So regarding this price I would have expected more.

Vacanza di una settimana in pieno periodo Covid19 con due bambini. Per quanto riguarda il cibo ottimo e nulla da dire, si mangia veramente bene e anche le quantità sono sempre soddisfacenti. Camerieri gentilissimi e tutti con la mascherina, anche se qualcuno ogni tanto la tiene abbassata con la bocca e naso scoperti e si è dovuto quindi procedere con fastidiosi richiami. In una struttura 4 st ci si aspetterebbe qualche attenzione in più da parte dei responsabili, soprattutto in periodo come questi. Camere pulitissime nel complesso anche se le lenzuola sono state cambiate solo una volta e su nostra richiesta. Spiaggia con lettini in periodo pre Covid, quindi distanze invariate. Se si è fortunati a non capitare in lettini adiacenti ad altre persone può andare anche bene, ma si tende cmq a massimizzare le presenze. Temperatura misurata sempre all'ingresso in spiaggia e solo il primo giorno all'ingresso dell'hotel anche se è presente una termocamera che però, sopratutto nelle ore pomeridiane, dava valori errati con temperatura fissa oltre i 39 gradi. Quindi resta il dubbio su chi entra e con quale temperatura.... Segnalato il problema alla Reception chissà se è stato risolto...
