Enoteca Paradise — Restaurant in Capaccio Paestum

Most terrible place we have ever been to. Serving and ordening takes way too long. The people who work there are not friendly, helpfull or nice and do not understand english properly, while they act like they do. Waiting for food for too long is also an issue and even then they forgot parts of what we ordered. We could think of a lot more problems... Last but not least, it alse takes very long to be able to get and pay the bill. It took over 30 minutes to get the bill and after that they said that paying by cart was not working. We had to go to an ATM which wasn’t working as well! Please don’t go there if you don’t want to waste your time and money. Only postive thing where we can think of, is that the garden...

Un'estate paradisiaca

È estate, sei a Paestum e cerchi un locale accogliente, in cui poter gustare buon cibo e buon vino. E la risposta arriva da sé: Enoteca Paradise, in via Laura, gestita con garbo e gentilezza dai coniugi Zarra e dal loro figlio Angelo, grande esperto di vini. Un locale bellissimo, ubicato in un verde giardino in cui fiori colorati e profumati fanno da cornice a questo piccolo paradiso. La sera, poi, si gode di un'ottima frescura, mentre luci sapientemente posizionate creano un'atmosfera da fiaba, unica e rilassante. È davvero il locale ideale per eventi speciali, da ricordare. Negli anni '80 il Paradise era una discoteca di grido gestita dalla famiglia Zarra, vero fiore all'occhiello della Paestum by night. Erano gli anni, non a caso, del grande successo musicale di Phoebe Cates che imperversava col brano Paradise, colonna sonora di quel periodo. Ma veniamo ai giorni nostri: qui si mangia davvero bene. Non mancano delle ottime pizze, degli ottimi panini e vini unici, per la gioia del palato. Ci torniamo?...
