We went to Tenuta Di Vaira for a wine tasting with local.produce and an escorted tour of the vineyard, processing and stilling area and the cellar. A lovely tour with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, giving us a very interesting insight into wine producing in the local area and of their own particular expertise. Our rainy day visit to Tenuta di Vaira was wonderfully warm and welcoming. Guided by the knowledgeable sommelier Chiara, we explored the winery, the history of the area and wrapped it with a delightful tasting of their wines. Chiara’s passion for winemaking was evident, making our experience both informative and enjoyable.

Ein Familienbetrieb, aus Leidenschaft und Begeisterung - mit einem Auge fürs Detail! Wir haben uns über die Webseite für eine Weinverkostung angemeldet. Der Termin wurde sogleich per E-Mail bestätigt. Vor dem Termin bekamen wir eine WhatsApp Nachricht, als Erinnerung, mit einem Standortlink, wo uns dann auch Google Maps hinführt hat. Das herzliche Willkomm von Chiara, dem Sommelier des Weingutes, lies uns gleich ankommen und wohl fühlen. Die Gegend, die Aussicht auf den Rebberg und das Ambiente lies uns gleich zum staunen bringen. Wow, alles wirkte so liebevoll und herzlich. Chiara nahm uns begeistert und motiviert mit auf den Rungang und erzählte uns über die Entstehung des Weingutes sowie etwas über den Rebbau, die Kelterung, die Weinsorten und gerade aktuelle Projekte die die Tenuta di Vaira am realisieren sind. Chiara nahm sich die Zeit für uns alleine. Die Verkostung war auf ihre Weine und ihr Olivenöl fokussiert und sehr aufmerksam und dezent. Wir konnten fünf Weine und ihr Hauseigenes Olivenöl probieren. Drei, von den fünf probierten, Weinen, sowie ihr Olivenöl haben uns total begeistert - wo wir dann schlussendlich auch gleich eingekauft haben... Unser Englisch ist etwas holprig und einfach, daher konnten wir den Wissensschatz von Chiara nicht voll ausschöpfen. Tenuta di Vaira und ihre Produkte können wir sehr empfehlen.
