From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable: warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without ever feeling rushed. The staff made us feel right at home, creating the kind of relaxed, elegant atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours.

We enjoyed fresh seafood and homemade pasta — both were outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with top-quality local ingredients. The setting itself is pure Tuscan magic: dining in a lush garden under the trees, with soft lighting and the scent of herbs in the air.

To top it all off, the wine came from the owner of the restaurant — a member of the legendary Antinori family, the oldest wine family in Italy. The location Tenuta Guado al Tasso is amazing and the restaurant architecture/décor is impressive. Five stars are definitely well earned. Wrt food, I shave off a point or two: 3-4 stars. I would think that there are little touches that are required to lift the restaurant to an even higher level. Consider in this vein the side dish of vegetables... a small side plate with dry, grilled vegetables (no herbs, spices...) - definitely disappointing for vegetarians. A dish of ice cream 🍨 comprised 3 unadorned scoops... I would have expected more culinary fuss even for a simple ice cream! No gripes though regarding the delicious cannellini soup. Gehört ab sofort zu unseren Favoriten! Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal! Wir kamen sehr spontan, mit zwei Hunden & sehr Légère bekleidet in der Nebensaison. Schon als wir unser Auto parkten bemerkten wir, dass wir an einem besonderen und wunderschönen Ort gestrandet sind! Am Empfang wurde man herzlich empfangen und zu einem idealen Platz für uns mit unseren kleinen Hunden gebracht. Die Weine, das Brot, die Antipasti, der erste und zweite Gang sowie der Nachtisch waren 1A!! Wir sind wirklich kritische Esser, weil wir selber gerne und gut kochen und leider auswärts oft enttäuscht werden. Oft denkt man sich man hätte daheim auch einfach besser kochen können. ABER hier war alles so perfekt. Die Antipastiplatte war von hoher Qualität und das Brot dazu - WOW. Tagliatelle mit Hackfleisch war geschmacklich wirklich vorzüglich - wir haben uns das als Vorspeise teilen wollen und haben es gleich auf zwei Teller verteilt bekommen. Die Rippchen vom Schwein waren sensationell, auch wenn der eingelegte Endiviensalat nicht meins war.. aber es hat keine Rolle gespielt - ich hab ihn weggelassen und es wurde halt auch so auf der Karte beschrieben - das gute Fleisch hat die saure Beilage weggehauen! Nachtisch (Tiramisu und Bayrischcreme) waren auch sehr gut - das einzige was mich trauracht: ich vermissen das Ei im Tiramisu statt der Sahne. Aber das ist fast überall so und hat wohl seine Gründe.. Die Rechnung für 1 Flasche Wasser, 4 Gläser Wein, 1x Antipastiplatte, 1x Nudeln zur Vorspeise, 2x Hauptspeise, 2x Nachtisch & 2 Espressi mit eine süßem Gruß aus der Küche - dafür haben wir gerade mal 170€ für zwei Personen gezahlt!! Also wer bei dieser Qualität, für das Ambiente & vor allem für das Personal und dem Betrag etwas zu meckern hat…? Wir kommen ganz sicher und bald wieder!
