I cannot say enough good things about the experience my fiancee and I had at San Felice Wine State. Giada, the Wine Shop Manager, and her team provided us with unmatched hospitality during our visit. We had a wonderful and informative tour of the breathtaking grounds at the estate, including a tasting of some of the best wines the expression of the vineyard has to offer. The wines were magical, both the whites and the reds. Not to be forgotten is the amazingly delicilous olive oil also produced on the estate. We loved every minute of our experience. The estate is also deeply invested in the community and has programs for both viticulture experimentation with one of the local schools as well as a program that trains and employs individuals with disabilities. Obviously, the wines are good, but I can taste them elsewhere. We visit a winery to learn the story behind the wines, the approach to all aspects of winemaking to visit the terroir, learn about the choices specific to the wines. None of that here. A McDonald’s experience as far as the visit goes, cookie-cutter basic info one can get from the internet. Is geared as an activity for the guests as the winery has become a resort/spa.
