Lido Europa Catania — Attraction in Catania

I have visited many lido across Calabria&Sicily and have to honestly say that this one is a joke. Each lido on the playa has different prices obviously, but some offer lower prices after a certain hour. We paid 40€ for 4 sun beds at 16:30, and at 18 while we were in the water they took our things off of the sun beds and closed the ombrelloni!

A disappointment to the least, we told the owner that it's an embarrassment to pay for 40€ for 2 hours of "service" and he just yelled at the beach boys like crazy, saying he felt offended.... Ridiculous, no real repercussions only the owner screaming and feeling offended. He felt offended that we got thrown off of something he manages...

Very nice, quiet and not crowded lido. 20 euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. 4 euros for lunch (choose between 2 types pasta, chicken or rolls). Everything you need in order to spend and enjoyable and relaxing day at the beach. Clean beach and lovely sand. The place is good for families and not as much for young people that might be looking for a beach club. I highly recommend this place. The beach and sea is clean. The staff is really friendly. It is not overcrowded and there is no loud music - perfect for families and/or people who try to avoid loud beach clubs.
