Very nice wine tasting with an exceptionally friendly host!

Although we called last minute on a whim, they accommodate us and offered a shortened version of their wine tasting. We got to try one white and two red wines.

We had a bit of a hard time finding the place to begin with since the main house is set back from the street. It is the driveway right next to “Bar Andy”.

What a wonderful family-run winery. They take deep care in caring for and processing their wines. You will NOT be disappointed! The Favati family knows excellent wine. Do NOT miss their excellent Taurasini! It is divine. You can enjoy a wonderful tasting with homemade appetizers. The cellar is on the premises. We enjoyed a tour of the cellar before joining them in their beautiful home for a tasting. They also have a store on site and a bed...

Extremely welcoming hosts who offered us an incredible tasting of their wine range - all the wines were really superb expressions, and the Taurasi riserva at the end was incredible. Accompanied by really delicious snacks from the garden, the tasting also ended up doubling up as our lunch - very delicious tomatoes, olives, cheeses and more!
