Foce del Coghinas — Attraction in Codaruina/Valledoria

This is an area of natural interest. It is the mouth of the River Coghinas and flows directly into the sea. It is popular for SUP boarding, kite surfing, wind surf tuition & kayaking during the summer months. There is also a bird watching excursion along the river during the summer season. This needs to be prebooked at the cafe/bar.. At present there is only one cafe/bar, L'Alta Bhanda, established in 2002, which is open from March until end of October. Alcoholic & non Alcoholic beverages are available as are snacks, ice creams & some fast foods, eg mini pizza. The owner speaks good English plus some German, Spanish, French & Dutch. The bar staff all have some English. The area is very popular with the local population. A word of warning, there is No public access to the beach unless you hire a pedalo or kayak, or swim across. Le personnel est très sympathique, c'est grâce à eux que je n'ai pas mis deux étoiles. Le lieu est idyllique.

Mais malheureusement, nous sommes peut-être mal tombés... à notre arrivée, notre bungalow était extrêmement sale. Nous avons dû commencer par intégralement faire la vaisselle qui était grasse et sale. Les chambres et les draps n’étaient pas propres non plus. Seule la salle de bain était propre. Malheureusement, la douche n’est pas vraiment utilisable, car les toilettes sont situées à l’intérieur de la douche (si on ferme le rideau de douche, la cuvette des WC est au milieu du rideau). Nous avons pris nos douches dans les douches publiques pendant notre séjour. La piscine est grande et a des toboggans très attrayants sur le dépliant publicitaire, mais ces toboggans sont fermés (cassés ?). Le terrain de beach-volley était inutilisable à notre arrivée et nous avons passé plusieurs heures à le remettre en état… après, c’était pas mal, mais on pourrait payer un jardinier pour le faire, non ?

Bref, ce camping ne mérite clairement pas 4 étoiles d’un point de vue international.

Après, un point de vue personnel : chaque soir, il y a des fêtes et autre baby-disco jusqu’à des heures tardives, je trouve cela bruyant et je préférerais qu’on nous laisse mieux profiter du chant du hibou petit-duc (présent dans le camping). Il me semble que l’argent dépensé pour ces animations pourrait être utilisés pour remettre en état les structures.

Bref, c’est un lieu merveilleux et le personnel est très sympathique, mais malheureusement, les installations ne sont pas en bon état et les prix sont élevés pour ce genre...
