Ristorante Pizzeria Pazza Idea — Restaurant in Codaruina/Valledoria

Me and my friends were in the restaurant last Sunday. I am a little confused with our visit because on the one hand the food was delicious but on the other hand some waitress of Pazza Idea behaved rude and impolite in my opinion.

We entered to the area of restaurant placed outside and noticed that waitress is talking with some other clients so we decided to not interrupt and wait to ask her if there is any table for us. In the meantime another waitress came from the inside of local walking next to us without answering to 'Hello'. Soon after that both waitresses walks next to us inside restaurant ignoring us and not giving a half a chance to ask if there is any free table for us. Therefore we thought that it is common here to take free table on our own so we took table outside but couple of seconds after that waitress approached us asking if we have reservation. We said that we do not have reservation and waitress issued a command to us saying ‘Up!’ and disappeared immediately not giving us a chance to ask for free table another time! After that my friend went inside to give another try to ask for table for us. This time it was successful but waitress took menu cards, started walking to free table without saying a word communicating us to follow her, threw cards on the table and walked away without a word again! In this situation we did not know if we can take a sit there or if waitress activity was not related to us…

After that everything were ok so summing up food and drinks were really good in opposite to behavior...

Abbiamo ordinato 2 pizze ( 1 tutto mare e 1 regina) 1 spaghetti allo scoglio, 1 grigliata mista di pesce, 1 fritto misto di pesce (mai arrivato ) e un'insalata verde. Pizze buone quella di pesce buona la pizza ma il pesce si assaporava freddo e si percepiva che fosse surgelato e di bassa qualità (€17), la pizza regina senza melanzana buona (8€) , gli spaghetti allo scoglio erano bucatini, porzione ridotta, scotta, sugo sicuramente non di pomodori freschi ma peggio di quelli già pronti che si comprano nei reparti surgelati dei supermercati ( 18€), grigliata di pesce consistente in una seppiolina, un gambero, uno scampo , e un pesciolino intero, non completamente eviscerato e crudo all'interno il tutto su un copioso letto di insalatina rossa per far volume. Apro il pesce per togliervi la lisca ma è completamente crudo, chiedo che mi venga cotto un pò di più e mi viene riportato carbonizzato (25 €). Il fritto misto non è mai arrivato. Alla cassa dove sta fissa la proprietaria al momento del pagamento mi viene addebitato anche il fritto. Con gentilezza lo faccio notare, ma in modo maleducato mi viene detto che non era vero e che ho rotto le scatole facendo ricuocere il pesce. A questo punto rispondo che l'educazione è una buona regola. Risposta da parte della proprietaria: se non venite più ci fate un favore. Premetto che ho prenotato di persona due giorni prima intorno alle ore 20, ho assistito ad una scena pazzesca di insulti da parte della proprietaria verso una cameriera perchè aveva fatto cadere una forchetta......questo avrebbe dovuto già farmi capire il soggetto. Il personale è molto gentile, lavora a mio avviso sotto stress dato il carattere della titolare. L'ambiente è molto molto rumoroso. Sconsigliatissimo come ristorante, la pizza obbiettivamente buona. Io non ci tornerò mai più durante i miei soggiorni in Sardegna. Vengo nell'isola da anni ho girato parecchi ristoranti sulla costa, dove cortesia, professionalità e buon cibo sono le caratteristiche. La pessima educazione, la cattiva gentilezza e il tono alto ed aggressivo della titolare nei miei confronti non smette di farmi pensare come possa essere trattato il personale alle sue dipendenze..... Un corso accellerato di buona educazione è...

Nous arrivions pourtant confiants ! En suivant les recommandations d’un habitant de Valledoria, nous réservons une table pour 4 personnes dans ce restaurant semble t-il apprécié des locaux, notamment pour ses pizzas énormes et ses plats généreux vendus à un prix raisonnable. Nous repartirons très déçus.

21h35 : le début des problèmes. Nous arrivons à l’heure au restaurant mais aucune table n’est disponible. Les serveurs qui courent dans tous les sens nous accueillent froidement en nous demandant de patienter près de 30 minutes sur le côté. (Nous avions réservé à 21h30). Nous attendons sans broncher malgré l’appétit qui se fait sentir.

22h : la soupe à la grimace. Ça y est ! Une belle table de 4 se libère au coin de la terrasse. Cette fois-ci c’est bon, nous allons pouvoir nous régaler comme tous ces gens attablés dans ce restaurant. Nous commençons alors par deux antipasti : une salade de poulpe (très correct) et une tomate mozzarella… affligeante : la tomate est fade (quel dommage quand on voit le nombre de petits producteurs à Velladoria et dans la région!) et coupée grossièrement. Et la mozzarella… comme les tomates.

22h30 : la soirée tourne au vinaigre. Après un antipasti décevant, tous nos espoirs se portent sur les plats principaux : 2 pizzas (quattro stagioni et quattro mori) et 2 spaghetti alle vongole. Pas de suspens inutile : les pizzas, certes très copieuses, ne valent rien. Encore une fois, les ingrédients sont de mauvaises qualités et disposés grossièrement : l’artichaut n’est pas cuit, la saucisse et le fromage sardes sont à peine reconnaissables et la sauce tomate est quasiment inexistante… On se demande même si les produits n’ont pas été rachetés à Dominos Pizza avant qu’ils ne quittent le territoire italien… Bref, la colère monte et prend le dessus sur la déception. « Cerise sur le gâteau » : un vongole sur deux a été servi. Le deuxième est sûrement resté sur le bord de la plage … et c’est peut être mieux comme ça car les pâtes se noient dans l’huile et les palourdes font plonger le plat au fin fond de la mer mediterrannée.

23h : C’en est trop. Nous partons payer au comptoir pour quitter au plus vite ce restaurant qui, malheureusement, fait plus de mal que de bien à la...
