The Lillaz Waterfalls are absolutely stunning and worth the visit if you are in the Cogne Valley. The walk to the falls is short, easy, and accessible, making it perfect for families, but you can also continue on longer trails if you enjoy hiking. The sound of the rushing water combined with the fresh mountain air creates a truly relaxing atmosphere.

The waterfalls are divided into several tiers, so you can admire them from different viewpoints. In summer, the water sparkles beautifully under the sun, while in winter the frozen cascades are breathtaking.

There are picnic areas nearby and the small village of Lillaz offers a few restaurants and cafés where you can stop after your walk. Parking is usually easy, though it can get crowded in high season.

Overall, a peaceful and refreshing experience in nature—ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Aosta...

Very nice place, but be careful for the horses at the last so called 'private' section. One horse smelled cookies in the childrens carrier bag, i wanted to give it but it didn't let me come closer to my wife. Then it gave me a push, later also my wife. An old person could get seriously wounded by that, defenitly because of the steep terrain. The horse was clearly upset and angry. We walked away and it let us go lucky enough. At the end of summer it was very calm around the waterfalls above, probably it gets food from people all the time in the season. I am aware there was a sign but would like to warn...

Absolutely stunning views but need to be prepared with full on hiking gear for winter conditions. We were a little over optimistic and spent almost 5 hours trying to get along the ominously deep snow and then down to incredibly icy and slippery decent whereby we both feel quite hard on countless occasions. Overall took us 8 hours to complete with the finish line being in complete darkness with only our phone flashlights to guide us. Probably very naive but want to make sure others do not make the same mistake due to the very easy climb up which then turns into a completely...

It was a nice stroll around the Lillaz small town and the park, before getting to the waterfall. The waterfall hike had several paths. If you like hiking and taking an easier hike trail, this could be for you. If you're new, you could face some challenges (if you have vertigo, you can just enjoy the park without the hike). Unfortunately when we were there, the drought had effected the water levels, hence the low level of water. There are several restaurants in the town that you could dine in before or after your hike/walk. Parkings (free and paid) are available before entering the town.
