A shame for the Dolomites! We came from a long hike and took the gondola down where we knew that they had a WC. The gondola operates until 17:30 and we arrived in the base station in town already at 17:15, by now urgently having to use the bathroom. The only bathroom of the base station was closed with a sign "momentarily closed for cleaning." We waited 15 minutes until 17:30 - at that point the cleaning guy emerged but told us that NOW the toilet would be closed for the day, and when we pointed out that we had to go really urgently (which at this point actually can become a medical issue), he told us that it says that the station closes at 17:30, so we had no business doing our business after 17:30!
