Lake Moro – Hidden Paradise near Lake Iseo

Great getaway destination only one hour and a half from Milano! There is a free parking lot in the town of Darfo by the Chiesa S. Apollonia. From the parking lot, there are various trails that lead to the lake's shores; they are all dog-friendly and medium in difficulty when climbing back up. The shore is extremely clean but there are no trash cans, so be sure to bring an extra bag for your trash. Along the trails you may also find a few Agriturismi (I would recommend Agriturismo Scraleca) where you can enjoy a wonderful meal and a breathtaking view...

Un incantevole laghetto nella provincia di Brescia facilmente raggiungibile da Milano. Normalmente si arriva fino al parcheggio ( gratuito) e poi si ha la possibilità di continuare verso il lago a piedi (la discesa è abbastanza ripida ma fattibile) oppure servendosi della navetta gratuita. In questo periodo di limitazioni è possibile arrivare con la macchina fino al lago e parcheggiare sotto ( lo sconsiglio nei periodi frequentati perché la strada è stretta e diventa difficoltoso muoversi in entrambi i sensi con le macchine). Una volta arrivati al lago, è possibile riposarsi sulle panchine, oppure cimentarsi in una tranquilla camminata, facendo tutto il giro del lago ( 45 minuti circa camminando tranquillamente) e comunque si può sempre approfittare di una sosta rifocillante immergendo i piedi o per i più coraggiosi ho visto gente fare il bagno. Si può anche affittare il pedalò. Non ho visto aree attrezzate per il pic nic e comunque pochi ampi spazi dove stendersi con dei teli. Vi sono invece delle passerelle dove qualcuno pescava. In generale merita una visita per godere delle bellezze naturali e fare una gita piacevole fuori...
