San Giovanni waterfall — Attraction in Comunità Montana Parco Alto Garda bresciano

I walked with a guide on the percorso natura, from Limone up the footpath beside the tumbling St Giovanni stream, passing the waterfall to the little bar/restaurant pictured (La Milanesa). There are good views of the lake and Malcesine from the restaurant terrace. Then along to the olive mill, and back down to Limone passing the pretty little church at chiesa di San Pietro. A really enjoyable path, our small group took 4 hours at a gentle or moderate pace to complete the circuit (including a drinks stop for around 25 minutes or so). Sehr schön und so völlig unerwartet. Nach einem Besuch von Limone empfiehlt sich der Aufstieg besonders kurz vor der Dämmerung. Der Blick auf den Lago di Garda entschädigt die Anstrengungen. Passeggiata che parte da Limone. Costeggia il torrente ed è protetta lungo l'argine. Camminata piacevole e non faticosa, adatta a tutti. Illuminata da lampioni e da fari lungo il percorso da provare in notturna. Davvero consigliato. Arrivati in fondo alla passeggiata si prosegue 5 minuti a piedi e sulla sinistra si trova la Cascata...
