This was an absolute treasure to find the old winepress dated 1572 so much history in this small town. Just walking the streets and walkways of cobblestone was amazing the old doors and shutters. The church was beautiful. When in the Lake Como are this is a must.

Viene rimesso in funzione durante la Sagra del Torchio che si svolge ai primi di Ottobre di ogni anno. Assolutamente da vedere. Consiglio di domandare informazioni ai locali per saperne di più sulla sua storia.

Diamond in the Rough - really tough to find in the middle of the old town - but worth the work! The press is still used occasionally - and there happened to be several jugs of fermenting wine sitting around the press. The jugs were all full of active fermenting juice - as the gassing could easily be heard from each one. Amazing - and the 450 yr working press is in perfect...

Always open and free to enter, just have to navigate the old town to find it. Wear comfy shoes. Worth a visit! Great...
