Opening hours on google were until 8.30pm and when we arrived at 7.30pm they said it was too late to try a bottle of wine and share it with my friends, 6 people so just 1 bottle needed(not a lot of effort), we wanted to purchase wine from Puglia but we changed our mind given the way they welcomed us. Just did a tour and tasting today. Our guides name was Rita, and she was lovely. We did a 4 wine tasting. Started with the sparkling and it was very nice, light, not an overwhelming flavor profile, very easy drink. I had a white which was the lightest in body and flavor I’ve probably ever had. The scent was a beautiful floral aroma. We had primitovo & a blend which were both wonders. Out of 4 people our favorite was the 2016 patitari primitivo. Great experience, not rushed. Brilliant, well worth a visit! Our host was Antonio who was lovely, very friendly, welcoming and informative. Had a great short tour to learn about the vineyard and then tried 5 varieties of negroamaro. The wines were fantastic, the rosato was a particular favourite.
