We were six ladies who had a fantastic day in september at La Collina, with the passionate daughter of the farm, Sara. She started with telling us the story about the farm and the wines, and we tasted wine directly from the tank. Then we went out among the wineranks and watced the harvest taking place by handpicking the grapes. It was very educational and exiting. Afterwords we tasted the lovely wines togheter with local specialities. We also smelled different spices to recognize them in the wines. Sara is an inspiring, sweet an lovely host, and we highly recommend this experience. We bought several wines to bring back home and have had greate evenings with drinking them and remembering this visit. Just whising we bought more, since we can't buy these amazing wines in Norway..

What a lovely experience and visit to this boutique family owned and run winery about 30" from Bergamo. Sara (the 5th generation -- her great-great-grandfather founded the winery) told us about the history of the winery, the process of making the wines and showed us around the vineyard. After our tour (to include their new building which is not quite finished, but it absolutely lovely), we were shown to the tasting room where we had a sampling of their wines with cheeses and cured meats. The winery produces (if memory serves me correctly) about 90,000 bottles a year (not large like a commercial winery, but also not particularly small). I definitely recommend a visit to this winery for anyone wanting to experience a bit of the wine culture of Lombardy and the Bergamo hills.

We had the most magical experience at La Collina Winery. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely immersed in the family’s passion for wine. Everything is done with care and dedication, as the grapes are grown and processed entirely in-house. The tasting was unforgettable, paired with delicious regional cuts of cheeses and meat that perfectly complemented the wines. Thank you, Sara, for so warmly welcoming us and opening the doors of your family-run winery. We would love to return again as this was an experience to remember 🍇🍷
