One of the clearest sea water I have ever seen! I loved so much swimming in that water! The sea bottom, and the beach itself, are rocky, so I strongly recommend to invest in a pair of beach shoes if you decide to go to Letojanni. You can easily buy a pair there (I got mine for less than 15 Euros at a local store). Despite the fact that the beach is very clean, it happened to me to see a few rusty metal pieces among the rocks, and the shoes helped with that too. The beach area of Letojanni is excellent in the wintertime since it offers the possibility for delightful walks on the promenade. Nice long and wide beach, made up of stones (mainly). The city could have taken a better care of this natural gem to my opinion. The beach is littered quite a bit. One can see plastic bags floating in the water. Discarded car tires, pieces of rusting metal and concrete street tyles lying around on the beach. Such a shame and seriously not up to...
