Il sito archeologico si trova nella parte meridionale dell’isola di Panarea, dove troviamo anche sullo stesso tragitto Cala Junco e prima Cala Zimmari l'unica spiaggia sabbiosa dell'isola. Su questo sito adagiato su un promontorio roccioso a forma di falce fu costruito un villaggio nell’età del Bronzo Medio (1500-1300 a.C.) abitato durante il periodo della facies di Thapsos-Milazzese. All’interno del sito, sono state scoperte 23 capanne ovali inglobate in un recinto rettangolare, probabilmente lo spazio aperto per gli animali.
