Hmmmmm. What could have been 5 stars became 2 stars and could have been 1 star.
We had sailed into Zimmari Bay for a two night stop Enroute to Croatia.
The Bay is incredibly beautiful.
On arrival we asked for the drinks list and they said there wasn’t one.
We asked for 4 aperol spritz followed by 4 G&ts then a bottle of €40 (I asked for this price) white wine.
When we asked for the bill, we were Told it was €200…..
Really I said…. There was no formal bill, just a scrap of paper with three words on it.
Having questioned it, he then said “how about €150”.
At that point we paid and went.
On reflection the place was smart, great position and good service. However the lack of transparency spoilt what could have been a great 5 star experience.
However, who likes to be played… Not me.
I’d still recommend people go, as it’s a local business, in an amazing location, with kind People that’s struggled through Covid, however get a price list before you start.
This was almost certainly an owner driven ploy. Please,...

The caprese was terrible - we asked if it’s was real mozzarella but it wasn’t, it was just mozzarella from supermarket. The granita was...
