Toilet Bowl lifeguard around 4:30 PM, long with blond and tall hair does not pay attention to customers. Does not let you know that this pool is significantly deeper than the rest of the pools in the park. All other staff walk you through before the ride and this one did nothing. I did not know how to swim and fell in and after drowning for a couple of seconds (very obvious I was slapping the water) my friend came and helped me . He gets mad at her and ask her why she helped me. She answers and says I can’t swim and he answers by saying why did she get in? The park’s pools are not more than 5 feet deep but I understand due to it being a free fall the measures must be kept. He stood there as I drowned and did not do a thing. Terrible staff and thankfully it happened to me and I had someone who was watching over me. People like this are the reason people die. For this type of ride you should be spoken to and given a warning. The lifeguard should be watching and act quickly. He did absolutely nothing and told my friend it’s fine when I was clearly drowning. Terrible staff member. Everyone else was amazing. Would visit again, but this man needs to be fired and work at a job where standing around and doing nothing is permitted, not a place where people’s lives are in his hands. This man is incredibly lucky that someone else came and did his job. His remarks as we left were also undesirable and very unprofessional. I hope he remembers how important his job and role is in the park and how serious he should take it.I worked at Chucky cheese as a 17 year old and had my eyes vigilant. How old can this man be ? Strong swimmers only sign is needed ( followed by a warning logo if the staff can’t speak Spanish or English ) and new...
Read moreI recently visited Acquatica Park in Milan, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing overall. While the rides were decent and offered a good variety, the safety concerns overshadowed any enjoyment we might have found.
One of the biggest issues was the behavior of certain groups in the park. There were teenagers and young adults running around, playing football and volleyball right in the crowded areas, which posed a significant danger to my young children, ages 4 and 6. It was alarming to see such physical activity where families were trying to enjoy their day.
Moreover, I noticed some very inappropriate behavior among young adults, including touching each other inappropriately. While this might be acceptable in some cultures, it was quite disturbing for us as a family. It seemed like the staff had little control over the situation, which made us feel uncomfortable throughout our visit.
On a more positive note, the staff at the ticket office and reception were friendly and welcoming, which was a nice touch amidst the chaos. However, the food options were another letdown. The offerings were far from authentic Italian cuisine, consisting mostly of low-quality fast food. Even the coffee was subpar, served with an attitude that left much to be desired.
Overall, while Acquatica Park has potential, significant improvements in safety and overall quality are needed to make it a family-friendly...
Read moreSo, first of all we had quite a lot of fun on the rides and a very good afternoon for people of all ages, but coming here is certainly an experience for lots of reasons. It is very dated, it looks like it needed a lot of renovations 5 years ago, which didn't happen. The lifeguards, oh the lifeguard, they leave a lot to be desired, mostly they appear to be having more fun than the guests, chatting up the younger females visitors or watching their phones, maybe 50% were watching the guests. It is the only place where I have seen a lifeguard teaching and encouraging kids how to do a backflip into water 1m deep or on another ride chatting with friends whilst guests (appeared to be under 16 years old) operated the rides for them. Some of the rides have a real feel of danger, which added to the excitement for us most of the time (less fun when you have a child on a ride and other kids are hurtling towards you before you have finished), we also saw a chap bleeding after hitting his head on a ride, which could happen anywhere, but was always more likely at this water park. We were aware that when visiting, everything is an extra, lockers (7 euros for a large locker which first two medium bags), shade (30 euros for a gazebo and two sun loungers), rubber rings (4-5 euros) etc. We were aware before we visited. I just hope that no one gets hurt here, feels like an accident...
