Not a bad beach the algea is a bit of a pain S the smell is horrendous, but but the beach is fine and convenient especially cor little.children, just a shame its si close to the port as some days the fumes from the dragetto and unloading ships but the views are great to see Carlo Forte and sant antiocco also the council are modernising the surrounding area and the road down to the beach finally, and a public pathway also, and amenities within 5 - 10 mins walk also , the algea part of the beach is an idea to extend the bea h ecologically so more space for people to come to the beach all in all for a small beach its not...

Spiaggia proprio di fianco al porto. La location non è il massimo: a sinistra fanno bella mostra navi e ciminiere, a destra un muro di cemento con numerosi graffiti. Ma se non vi fate condizionare da questi "dettagli" la spiaggia non è male. Sabbia grana media colore beige scuro, mare pulito e soprattutto poco affollata a differenza dell'insenatura successiva che accoglie la spiaggia di Porto Paglietto (il mare alla fin fine è lo stesso). Durante la stagione estiva è presente la sorveglianza del bagnino. Nota positiva: parcheggi non a pagamento sulla strada Nota negativa: non è presente nessun stabilimento e chiosco.
