A beautiful spot in Rapallo. Stopped here on my walking trip to explore this beautiful Italian Riviera town. It was going through reconstruction, being Winter, to repair damage from a recent storm. Beautiful spot during summer for all ages. This is between Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino and a good spot to stop and admire the ocean views. It was deserted because it was winter when I was here but must be a lovely...

Man nimmt den Pfad zur Torre di Punta Pagana und spürt sofort: Hier spricht keine Show, sondern Geschichte mit leisem Ton. Die steinerne Wacht aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, vom Senat der Republik Genua gegen Piraten erbaut, steht bescheiden auf dem Felsen und schaut aufs Meer, als hätte sie schon alles gesehen. Niemand trommelt mit Kanonen – man lauscht nur dem Wind und dem Plätschern. Ein Ort, der nicht imponieren will, sondern dich schlicht empfängt.

La torre di Punta Pagana è stato un edificio difensivo situato nella frazione di San Michele di Pagana a Rapallo. La cinquecentesca torre d'avvistamento è ubicata presso l'insenatura tra Trelo e Prelo, all'interno del cimitero frazionale della località.

Dal 1981 è di proprietà del Fondo Ambiente...
