Make no mistake: this is an abandoned ruin. There is absolutely nothing else to be found here and it is certainly not okay for young children.

What is left of a once sprawling estate of a local dutchess, is a collapsing and in many places downright dangerous ruin. In many places, nature has taken over. Not only is the main building shuttered, likely you would not dare set foot in it.

That said, this is an impressive complex and an interesting visit. I went for an elaborate walk around to study as much as I could, and found it fascinating.

Peccato che sia lasciato al più totale abbandono..un luogo così bello..! Villa di campagna della duchessa Maria Luigia, con tanto di corte, alloggio domestici, stalle, luoghi di lavoro...come fermati nel tempo, come fossimo ancora agli inizi del 1800. Purtroppo la vegetazione cresciuta, gli animali, e il tempo hanno reso il posto, tristemente degradato..ed è un peccato..un pezzo di storia così non si può lasciare andare. La villa è enorme, coi suoi orologi sul frontespizio fermi..a testimoniare che il tempo è rimasto indietro.. Tutto intorno, il parco, enorme rende l'idea di com'era.. della maestosità del luogo. Suggerire al Fai di prenderlo come soggetto da rivalutare...potrebbe...
