Parco dei Renai — Attraction in Signa

The part of the park with the amusement wasn’t much and didn’t reach my expectations. Was there 24th of June between 1 and 6 PM and everything was pretty much closed. The grass is dead dry and has muddy patches, which is not nice for a picnic. The rock climbing area looked like it got through a storm with dead branches everywhere and tall grass/weed. You can no longer go to the lake which was the main reason we got there, because it had been bought by another company and it’s closed due to ”too much rain”. Continue walking on the main road leading to the lake you will only be greeted by big trucks transporting construction materials and dirt. There’s only one good picnic area that is filled with people with little to no distance between the crowds. Huge...

The park has different sections. You can walk in and use a small part for free but the lake is not accssible and barely visible. Happy park is for kids and you have to pay. There is also a section with a pool and cafe, which you also have to pay for. If you take a right along the road BEFORE entering the park and follow the road for 10 mins walking, there is another entrance on the left with a gravel path, this takes you to the lake you can swim in with sunbeds and umbrellas and a beach bar - 10euros for 2 beds and an umbrella, friendly staff, they even drive you back in a golf buggy. Il parco dei Renai è stato realizzato a partire da una zona degradata, una discarica a cielo aperto, per ottenere un’oasi verde e azzurra tutta naturale. Il parco accoglie una riserva integrale realizzata in collaborazione con WWF, e spazi per il tempo libero totalmente a ingresso gratuito.

I Renai sono 'il mare' di Firenze. Una spiaggia di finissima sabbia in città per gli amanti della tintarella e del relax balneare. i Renai ospitano una grande spiaggia attrezzata per la balneazione, con ombrelloni sdraio e lettini. La qualità dell'acqua è continuamente controllata.

Sono presenti anche molti altri servizi a pagamento: piscina, minigolf, parete d'arrampicata sportiva, scuola di vela, calcetto, beachvolley, giochi gonfiabili che rendono il parco di Signa di essere uno dei centri di aggregazione più amato dai cittadini. Completano la struttura un bar ristorante e una botique.

Per gli appassionati della bici, inoltre, è possibile raggiungere il parco dei Renai dalle Cascine, sulla pista ciclabile pavimentata e in piena efficienza.Sara' possibile visitarlo tutti i giorni con orario 14,00/22,00, sabato e domenica con orario 9,00/22,00.
