Bagno San Francesco — Attraction in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

Pros first: excellent clean beach, good food in the restaurant, nice facilities and the pool which is great for kids. Now the cons: 60% of the beds/tents were empty and I was still not able to pick a tent closer to the sea, they kept saying it was booked, I either don't get the system/culture or was treated as second category guest. Also for the price you pay you would expect the staff to be more friendly and throw a smile from time to time but instead it felt like everyone was...

if I could put 0 stars I would. The place is trash, overpriced and not tasty. The group I came with ordered 3 penne and only 1 was brought and then they only started cooking the next 2. Is it that hard to cook multiple portions in one? Also the service is bad and everything is dirty. I would never recommend this place.

We couldnt get a place at this beach (and it seemed because we are foreigners). 70% empty beds and tents but they kept telling it was reserved. It would have been totally over priced anyway for an ordonary beach (180€ for a little tent a day). The attendtand guard was polite and recommended a free beach...
