If you're a true Godzilla fan, you should definitely make an effort to check this place out!

Before anything, DO NOT purchase the tickets online, as the website is poorly translated and the tickets are +¥10,000

To get to the island, you'll want to stop at Maiko Station and take a bus that will lead directly to the park

To clarify, this is a part of a theme park with different varieties of attractions, so the Godzilla area isn't as large as one would think. The Godzilla Interception Operation consists of 4 interactive parts, which will cost ¥3,300 per person and must be followed in order. Also, they only allow you to do the zip line once.

They start you off with a really cool, short film. Afterward, they direct you to the zip line where you choose to go either in his mouth or outside of him. Once you get off the zip line, you get to do a "cell shooting" game, which doesn't work all too well, but at least worth one try. After completing the zip line and cell shooting game, you get plenty of time to check out the Godzilla museum. It's more of a large room, but it's filled with incredible statues of Godzillas from different eras and concept arts and figures and is a fan's heaven. To complete the experience, you can do an optional photo shoot/video shoot with a Godzilla figure that will cost a little extra. The photo was ¥3,000 alone, but it can be enough for any fan.

They have a cafe with Godzilla themed food and snacks, but most of them are onion flavored and not that good.

Overall, as a die-hard fan of the franchise, the experience was absolutely worth it! Hopefully, they can improve upon it and...

I’m a huge tokusatsu fan. This was a Terrible experience. No easy way to get here, and they will let you buy a ticket, but they dont tell you about height or weight limits. Im 196CM tall and barely 107kg. Max weight is 100kg. We came to the island for ziplining on our honeymoon. This was the one we were most excited for. We Essentially blew 100USD to get here, only to be turned away. Movie wasnt playing, exhibit is cool of you like replicas and really beat up suits. They tried to let me film a VFX thing but i turned it down, I got a bluescreen at home and I can make my own suits. I like Shin Godzilla and maybe two other movies. If you plan to visit from out if the country, have enough Japanese language skills to talk to staff. The most they had was a poorly translated sheet of rules. I can’t recommend this to fans or foreigners. At least Crayon Shin-chan was there…. But refunds aren’t! Save your time and cash, let my pain be my...

So much fun if your a Godzilla Fan! My kids did the zip line. And there is more here on this island than just Godzilla. There’s Hello Kitty, Spy Family and lots of other adventures. We missed the first bus that take you directly to the theme parks. Luckily the bus lady at the ticket counter help us catch a city bus that left us on the bridge. From there we walked 80m to the left and saw a island map. We waited there 10mins and a free shuttle picked us up. Lots of walking, and plenty of clean bathrooms. If you arrive early, you can probably visit 3 or more theme parks. Bonus tip: they have Godzilla shaped fried chicken n...
