Kiseki No Hoshi BOTANICAL MUSEUM — Attraction in Awaji

What a gorgeous place!! The architecture is fascinating! Although there are signs everywhere letting you know where to go, it feels like a maze because of the layout of the facility. Every angle of this place is so cool. The step gardens are beautiful! I must go again on a sunny blue-sky day. And definitely in the spring when I assume all the gardens will be full of bright flowers! The botanical museum was also so interesting! There were SO MANY kinds of flowers and almost every one of them was blooming!! What blew me away the most was their displays of carnivorous flowers! SO COOL!!! HIGHLY recommend making the trip if you can!! You could easily spend 3+ hours wandering this place.

Parking is confusing at first because the Google map marker I used for navigation was placed at the stupid street intersection 🤦🏽‍♀️ if you're driving, turn in towards the main facilities (i.e. away from the sea), then go straight into the tunnel-looking entrance. It's a parking garage. There are a couple different exits to above ground so it doesn't really matter where you park...

We arrived by noon and started our wonderful journey inside this magical botanical garden. Parking would be free provided you make some purchase no matter F and B or souvenir, they would give you chop for free parking. We strolled along the first exhibition hall and altogether five. The plants were green in nature with some orchids in between. Followed by flowers of distinctive species and lovely. We took a break for lunch before we come back since the entrance fee allows. When we come back, we went on to see some Japanese garden and rose garden, all were beautiful and the blossoms of seasonal flowers. Some special plants were placed and planted with the environment suitable for them. A creative idea in planting different kinds of plants on planet under the same roof facilitating us a go for world while features. If you like plants, it definitely requied longer hours to cope with this...

It is a well-designed architecture. The ticket is more expensive for special exhibition. I think it is quite expensive (1300 Japanese yen for special exhibition, 600 Japanese yen during other time). I would say it was a bit boring... It is probably a better idea to walk around Yumebutai than to buy ticket for the plant museum if one is not that interested in plants.
